Staring on the western side of the Manhood Pensinsula this route heads up the gravel track of Salterns Way then on to the old Chichester to Midurst railway line via Lavant and West Dean. We then start to climb up towards  the Trundel which rises to 206 metres. Getting its name from the ancient fort at its summit it offers views across the coastal plain to the south and the weald to the North. Mountain Bikes are a definate for this trip with good breaks for the decent!!

Mr D & Mrs A Thompson

Having cycled with Peninsula Cycles on a number of occasions it is easy to see that Hamish's in depth knowledge of both the local cycle routes & fascinating history of Chichester can only come from having lived here for so long. Always a thoroughly interesting bike ride with lots to see and learn along the way.
